Diane Louise Everett, age 70, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024, in Waurika, Okla. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, January 6, 2025, in the Chapel at Griffin ~ Hillcrest of Ardmore with Pastor Steve Skinner.

Diane was born in Ardmore, Okla., on June 18, 1954, to Jake Luther Whitmore and Dellar (Boone) Whitmore. She attended Ardmore Schools and married John Ervin Everett on March 20, 1975, in Gainesville, Texas. She worked as a cook at Southbrook Nursing Home. Going garage selling was one of her passions and she loved sewing, camping, and cook-out.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Allen Whitmore, Billy Whitmore, and Frankie Whitmore, two sisters, Lily Underwood and Eunice Johnson, nephews, Walter Johnson, Allen Paul Whitmore, and John Wayne Berry.

Diane is survived by her husband of over 49 years, John, son, John Ervin Everett II and wife Laura, and daughter, Lisa Everett. Five grandchildren: Tiffany, Britany, Cameron, Cayden and Liam. Five great-grandchildren: Blake, Carson, Chase, Chloe, and Ally. Sister, Fay Horn and husband, JT.
