Eugene (I knew him as Buster) was my one of my favorite cousins. We share the same middle name, Eugene. He spent a lot of time with me when we were young. I would spend time at their house on 3rd street when I was spending time with them during the summer. We would walk to the old bus station and play video and pinball games. He always paid for mine. He was 3 years older than me and had a job. We would walk across the via-duct to granny King's house and visit her. He taught me once while we were there to play "nosey poker". Ask me about it sometime and I'll tell you. He also let me go to work with him at the corner grocery store just down the street from where they lived. Buster had an infectious smile and laugh and a real sense of humor that I also saw in his mom; my aunt Virginia and our uncle Richard. He'll be missed, but the memories will remain. May God give each of you the peace that only He can give.
