Marlene and I go way back to the 60's in Tulsa. Both of us had a dear friend, Donna Leland, who introduced us, and we all bonded immediately. Marlene was always so easy to talk to. Once she married and moved to Ardmore, later I married and moved to Houston. Dick and Marlene visited us there and it was as if we never parted. Once I moved back to Tulsa we communicated via phone. We talked for about an hour every time we got on the phone! My last conversation with her was after Dick had passed and I knew how very much she missed him. She is with him now, making him laugh. What a wonderful life they had together. That is how they both should be remembered.
