Obituary of Conrad Nedd, Sr.

Conrad Nedd, Sr., age 56, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 in Tulsa, Okla. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at McAlister Cemetery. Conrad was born in Lawton, Okla. on October 10, 1963, to Margaret (Lewis) Nedd and Henry Nedd. He attended Ardmore City Schools. He enjoyed Rock-N-Roll music and was proud of his Native Heritage. He also enjoyed doing Indian bead work. He attended the New Hope Baptist church of Tulsa, Okla. Conrad loved to travel and will be remembered as a free spirt. Conrad was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Lewis Nedd, brother, Douglas Crowder, sister, Evelyn Marris and her husband Wayne “Rooster”, granddaughter, Allison Palmer, grandson, Raymond Nedd, and nephew, Ray Battiest. He is survived by his father, Henry Nedd, daughter, Ann Marie Layes, two sons, Conrad Nedd Jr., and Cory L. Nedd, four granddaughters, Carlena Nedd, Navia Nedd, NitaOsi Rains and Trishell John, two grandsons, Shane Layes and Ryan Layes, seven nieces, one nephew, and honorary brother, Mark Blanchard and family. Pallbearers will be; Doug Crowder Jr., Mekko Tyner, Joe Harjo, Emmanuel Bezzell and Mark Blanchard. A visitation will be held Monday evening, October 12, 2020 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Griffin~Hillcrest.
