Obituary of James Wesley Conn, Sr.

James Wesley Conn, Sr., age 70, was called home on August 16, 2020, in Ardmore, Okla. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 24, 2020, at Rose Hill Cemetery with Pastor Bonnie Horn officiating. James was born on May 15, 1950, to Walter Roy Conn, Sr. and Lillie Bell (Owens) Conn in Perry County Line, Arkansas. James loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren and they were the focus of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew, Danny Conn and sister-in-law, Darlene Conn. James is survived by his children; Leslie Johnson, and husband, Johnny, of Ardmore, Okla., Christie Ivie, and husband, Martin, Jimmy Conn, and wife, Barbara, and Jennifer Wiley and husband, John, two brothers, Sam Conn, of Arkansas, and Walter Conn, of Oklahoma City, Okla. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday, August 23, 2020, at Griffin~Hillcrest.
