Ersla Ernestine Stacy, age 87, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019, in Marietta, Okla. Crypt side will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, January 10, 2020, in the Mausoleum at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Ersla was born on May 14, 1932, in Comanche, Okla., to George W. and Lillie P. (Wolfe) Barker. Ersla lived in Ardmore, Wynnewood and in the Muskogee areas for many years. The last few years she has been a resident of Lake Country Nursing Center in Marietta.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Bernice Mathews and Martha Stash.
She is survived by son, Bill Melton; daughter, Dottie Pendergast; son, Tim Couch and wife Kerri, and son; Jesse Couch and wife Shannon; six granddaughters; Erica Melton; Tasha Pendergast; Alexandra Pendergast; Jessica Norman; Kylan Couch and Landry Couch; one grandson; Dekin Kydd, two great-grandchildren; Abbigail and Alexander Norman. One brother, George Barker Jr. as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
