Rhonda G. (Baptiste) Perez, age 52, began her heavenly journey on August 26, 2018, in Oklahoma City, Okla. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, August 30, 2018, in The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest with Pastor Vincent Baptiste Officiating. Interment to follow in McAlister cemetery. Rhonda was born in Ardmore, Okla., on February 15, 1966 to Dolph and Betty Baptiste. Rhonda graduated High School in Billings, Montana. Since that time she worked as a Direct Care Provider, She loved her job so much that when her illness was trying to force her to quit; she would save her energy all day to make sure she could go to work that evening. Rhonda looked forward to Thursday to get her People Magazine all her life. She loved going to garage sales, purchasing items on the facebook yard sale, reading, playing bingo and watching movies. Most of all she treasured her time being spent with her kids and family. Rhonda was the most selfless and caring person. She will be remembered for helping any one in need. She was a life time member of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Dolph Baptiste, Jr., brother, Randy Baptiste, daughter, Krista Baptiste, grandparents; Lula Parker and Amelia Campos. Rhonda is survived by her mother, Betty Baptiste, of Ardmore, three children; Aaralyn, Chase, and Aaron, of the home, two sisters; Raquel Baptiste and Rebecca Baptiste, both of Ardmore one brother, Arch Baptiste and wife, Peggy, of Kentucky. Three nieces; Amber Baptiste, Mariah Baptiste, and Amanda Holybee. Five Nephews; Josh Baptiste, Vincent Baptiste, Trey Baptiste, Tylen Baptiste and Jeron Booker. Two great nieces and one great nephew. Serving as pallbearers will be; Arch Baptiste, Derrick Eades, Gary Brown, Aaron Williams, Keith McCarroll and Raquel Baptiste. Honorary bearers will be; Trey Baptiste, Tylen Baptiste and Jeron Booker. Visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at Griffin~Hillcrest.
