Obituary of Dale Brent Bolin

Dale Brent Bolin, age 68, passed away on February 7, 2018, in Ardmore, Okla.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, February 14, 2018, in The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest with Pastor Matt Benedict to officiate. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Dale was born on April 4, 1949, to Newlin Dial Bolin and Dollie Willie Robinette, in Oklahoma City, Okla. He attended and graduated from Verden Schools in Verden, Okla.

Dale enlisted in the Army and served in the Vietnam War. He married Barbara Bolin on July 10, 1971. He was a truck driver in oil transportation.  Dale loved writing his own poetry and enjoyed gardening and fishing.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, nine sisters and seven brothers.

Dale is survived by his wife of the home, Barbara Bolin, daughter, Janet Wayman and husband, Derek, four grandchildren, Dustin Wayman, Bradley Wayman, Emerson Wayman and Connor Wayman.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, February 13, 2018  at Griffin~Hillcrest.
