David Roy “Big Boy” Loma, age 48, passed away on May 25, 2026, in Denison, Texas. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm in The Chapel at Griffin ~ Hillcrest, Saturday, May 30, 2026, with Brother Maurice Bond officiating. Interment to follow at McAlister Cemetery.

David was born on March 14, 1978, to Winston “Cheesie” Jefferson and Cathy (Marris) Jefferson. He attended Plainview Schools and graduated from Marrietta Schools in 1997. He then took a position with Michelin as a forklift driver until his health forced him into retirement. He loved playing PlayStation with his nieces and nephews, where he focused his love. He was a Washington Red Skins fan. Big Boy loved to go to concerts and enjoying life.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cathy Manning and sisters, Amanda “Angel” Jefferson, and Jaime Lewis.

David is survived by his father, Winston “Cheesie” Jefferson, of Ardmore, sisters: Kimberly Loma and fiancé, Shawn Smith of Durant, Okla., Vanessa Jefferson of Ardmore, brother, Brian Locust of Madill. Nieces and nephews: Ashlyn Williams, Autumn Jefferson, Haley Jefferson, Rylee Fixico, Rayah Fixico, Mayra Jefferson, Beto Jefferson, Tony Jefferson, Lauren Jefferson and great-nieces and nephews; Max Salazar, Axelle Salazar and Jose Fixico.

Visitation will be held on Friday evening, May 29, 2026, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home, Ardmore.

Pallbearers will be; Beto Jefferson, Tony Jefferson, Toby John, Bryant Johnson, Shane Williams, and Michael Ned.
