Kenneth Ray Brown, age 75, passed away on April 22, 2026, in Ardmore, Okla. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, May 1, 2026 in The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest Funeral Home with interment to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Ardmore, Okla.

Kenneth was born in Ardmore, Okla. on April 28, 1950, to Cubby Brown and Mary (McCurtain) Brown. He attended and graduated from Ardmore High School with the class of 1969. He went on to attend SOSU in Durant, Okla. He married Elizabeth Ann Jackson on August 1, 1969. He enlisted in The Army National Guard on August 26, 1985. He married Janet Katherine Crouch on April 28, 1991.

Kenneth was a truck driver for most of his life. Kenneth enjoyed basketball, OU football and rock-n-roll dancing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, second wife, Janet Katherine Crouch, sister, Ruby, brothers; Gene, Johnny Mack, Ronnie and Donnie, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Gretchen Haltom and Ronnie “Big Boy” of Ringwood, Okla., grandson, Logan Dwight Halton, of Waynoka, Okla., grandson, Braden Robinson and Cidney of Piedmont, Okla., nine great-grandchildren, two step-daughters, Candie and Sonya, one step-son, DL, step-granddaughter, Hunter of Ardmore, Okla., who he helped raise, and sister, Pat, of Las Vegas, Nevada.

The family requests that attendees consider wearing "OU" colors in honor of his favorite team.
