Roxanne Ingram Pettigrew Obituary

Roxanne Ingram Pettigrew, age 67, passed away on March 26, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She was born on January 21, 1959, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Joanna (LaFontain) Ingram and Robert Ingram.

Roxanne was preceded in death by her spouse, Mike Pettigrew; her parents; her sister, Mary Lena Hite; and her brother, Floyd Ray Ingram.

Roxanne attended Marietta Schools and built a life centered around hard work, family, and the people she loved most. She worked for A&A Transportation at Michelin and later for the Chickasaw Nation, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.

Roxanne shared two children with Darrell Pettigrew (Chic): her son, Darrell Pettigrew Jr. (JR), and her daughter, Bridget Harmon (Virgil). Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her three grandchildren: Hayden Pettigrew (and Fiancé Garrett Nemecek) of Yukon, Oklahoma; Madisen Moore of North Carolina; and Makenna Moore of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She is survived by her sister, Janice Brokeshoulder; and her brothers: Curt Ingram; Terry Ingram (Felicia); Bobby Joe Ingram; Clint Ingram (Carla); and Robert Ingram Jr.; and a host of nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

An avid University of Oklahoma fan, Roxanne could often be found cheering on the Sooners. However, her favorite teams were always the ones her grandchildren played on—never missing an opportunity to support and celebrate them.

Family will receive friends for visitation on Friday evening, April 3, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Griffin Hillcrest Funeral Home.
