Kelly Jean (Kidd) Minyard, age 50, passed away on March 6, 2026, at her home in Ardmore, Okla. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 12, 2026, in The Chapel at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home.

Kelly was born on August 27, 1975, to Wayne Kidd and Kay (Kinnan) Kidd at Boynton Beach, FL. Her family moved to Ardmore, Okla. when Kelly was 10 years old. She attended Ardmore Schools. Kelly married Johnnie Minyard, Jr. on June 13, 2014, at Central Park in Ardmore, Okla. In her early life, she was focused on her children as a stay-at-home mother, then her focus and love shifted to her grandchildren. Kelly had a green thumb and loved to care for her plants.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Kay Kidd, father of her children Joseph Farve, her sister, June Shelley, and brother, Wayne Kidd, Jr.

Kelly is survived by her husband, Johnnie Minyard, Jr., children, Kayla Faulkner and husband, Albert Simmons, Morgan Farve and husband, Bradly Landeros, Austin Farve and wife, Bella Haislip, Makenzie Farve and husband, Brett Carney, and Keylan Minyard. Father, Wayne Kidd, seven grandchildren; Cierra, Albert, Carlee, Taizlee, Violet, Kinsley, and Journey. Sisters, Brenda Hayes and Tina Kidd, and brother, Kevin Kidd, and several nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
