Gladys Faye (Taylor) Hargrave, age 82, passed away on February 10, 2026, in Ardmore, Okla. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Monday, February 16, 2026, in The Chapel at Griffin ~ Hillcrest with The Reverend Steve Wall officiating. Cremation with care to follow.

Gladys was born on March 22, 1944, to Abner Howard Taylor and Jincy (Tom) Taylor in Antlers, Okla. She attended Antlers Schools. She met Teddy Covington, and together they had a son Mitchel. Later, she met Troy Clearman, who was a truck driver with whom she enjoyed traveling, and they had three children: Troy, Regina, and Curtis. Eventually, she met Charlie Hargrave, and their union brought a daughter Donna. She moved to Ardmore in 1989, working in housekeeping at Mercy Memorial Hospital until she retired.

Gladys loved to spend time with her puppies, Opie, Sandie, Kitt Katt who she loved with all her heart and spending time outdoor on the front porch.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Curtis Clearman and Troy Clearman IV, and granddaughter, Karlie Clearman, brothers, Numan Taylor, Jimmy Taylor, Leroy Taylor, and Benny Taylor.

Gladys is survived by her son, Mitchel Covington, daughters; Regina Case, and husband, Breck, and Donna Hargrave. Seven Grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Sisters, Delores Taylor, and Julia Davis, and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
