Jalen Dalton Sampson, age 31, passed away peacefully on, Thursday, December 25, 2025, at Oklahoma City, Okla. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest Funeral Home, Ardmore, Okla. with Pastor Mond Davis officiating. Interment to follow at Nelda Cemetery, Durwood, Okla.

Jalen was born on May 15, 1994, to Ronald Sampson and Terrie (Taylor) Sampson at

Ardmore, Okla. He attended Ardmore High School. He enjoyed watching sports, especially OU Football and Basketball and the Dallas Cowboys, playing his guitar, and being around family and friends. He loved Christmas and having cookouts and playing horseshoes. Jalen always had a kind spirit and a giving heart. Jalen had accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and truly wanted his salvation to be with the Lord. Jalen was working at the Holiday Inn in Ardmore when he was forced to take leave due to his failing health.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Phyllis Sampson, maternal grandparents, John and Pauline Taylor, uncles: Danny Sampson, Jr. and Leonard Taylor.

Jalen is survived by his daughter, Jaylah Sampson, parents, Ronald and Terrie Sampson, brother, Jared Sampson, grandfather, Danny Sampson, Sr., great-aunt, Josephine Taylor, and special aunt, Donna. Aunts: Marquetta James, Chastity Christi and spouse, Tony, Myrna Boston, Doreen Martinez, Tammy Stiles, and numerous cousins, and extended family.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, December 30, 2025, at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home, Ardmore.
