Jack Leonard “Jackie” Howard, Sr., age 58, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at his home in Marietta, Okla. Services are planned for a later date.

Jack was born on September 12, 1967, in Ardmore, Okla., to Charles Alfred Howard and Betty Jean (Roper) Howard. He attended Marietta Public Schools and was a graduate of the Class of 1986. He married Miss Rhonda Jean Faulkner on March 22, 1987, in Marietta, Okla. He worked at the pants factory in Marietta for 15 years. After the closing of the factory, Jack went to work for CM Trailer’s for 10 years. He then took a position with Ray’s Lawn Maintenance, retiring in 2019 to care for his wife. Jack was a lover of the outdoors, watching his TV shows about fishing, and going fishing any time he could. He will be remembered as a tinkerer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rhonda Jean (Faulkner) Howard, son, Rusty Howard, and sister-in-law, Robin Howard.

Jack Howard is survived by his son, Jackie Howard Jr., and his daughter, Heather Howard, both of Marietta. Six grandchildren. Seven brothers: Chuck Howard, Mike Howard, Ron Howard, Don Howard, Dan Howard, Paul “Cowboy” Coxsey, and Steve Matthews. Two sisters, Linda Howard, and Norma Herndon, one sister-in-law, Roberta Dyer. Numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends.
