Adrian Glen Melton, age 85, passed away on December 6, 2025, in Ardmore, Okla.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, December 10, 2025, in The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest with Pastor Mike Johnston officiating. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Adrian was born on April 23, 1940, to Houston Melton and Eula Airington Melton in Clemscott, Okla. He attended Graham Schools for elementary and went on to Fox High Schools. He enlisted in the United States Navy. After returning home, he married Florine Flowler, with whom he had two sons. After their marriage concluded, he married Hazel Fogle Ratliff in Navada. When that relationship ended, he married Patricia Holybee on March 16, 1998, in Marshall, Texas. After Patricia's passing, he met Claudette Brown, who has been his companion ever since. Adrian worked in the oil field for many years, then for the casino and his last job was with B & C Construction.

He loved traveling to see places and will be remembered for his open kindness for all the people he would meet.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Patricia Melton, and brother, Robert A. Melton, sister, Evelyn Wikle.

Adrian is survived by his sons, Adrian Melton Jr., and Randall R. Melton, and four grandchildren, Casey Glen Melton, Joe Dan Melton, Adriann Nicole Melton, and Keith Melton. Seven great-grandchildren, and significant other, Claudette Brown.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Casey Melton, Jo Dan Melton, Rodney Gaither, John Melton, Derrick Airington and Gary Bernall.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home, Ardmore.
