Billy D Anderson, age 75, passed away in Ardmore, Okla. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 2, 2025, in The Chapel at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home, with his son, Jed Anderson, officiating.

Billy was born on July 21, 1950, to Henry Glenn Anderson and Betty Lou (Dowdy) Anderson. He was a graduate of Mill Creek High School in 1968. On August 15, 1969, he married Pamela J. Clark at Mill Creek, Okla. Billy went to work for OG&E and they moved his family throughout the state of Oklahoma and in 1987 they landed in Ardmore.

After his retirement from OG&E, Billy enjoyed volunteering as a reserve police officer for the Lone Grove Police Department and a reserve Deputy Sheriff for Carter County. Billy is a past president of The Kiwanis Club of Lone Grove, OK. and former member of the Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce of Sapulpa and Lions Club Member of Sapulpa and Sulphur JC Charter Member. Billy enjoyed being outside hunting and tending his cattle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, uncle, Dwain Penner and aunt, Roberta Penner.

Billy is survived by his wife, Pamela Anderson, daughters, Lisanne Anderson and Amanda Collins and husband Gary, son, Jedidiah Anderson and wife, Stephanie. Eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, brothers, Mike and Mark Anderson, and sister, Patti Cornelius.
