Erika Michelle McGee, lovingly known as “Tutti”, gained her wings at the age of 43 on September 2, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, surrounded by her daughter and two sisters. Tutti fought a courageous battle with Lupus, showing strength and grace until the very end. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday September 13, 2025, at Jehovah Baptist Church of Milo, Okla. Interment to follow at Jehovah Cemetery, Milo.
Tutti was born on November 7, 1981, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to Janet Knight and the late Earnsby “Slick” McGee, Jr. She accepted Christ at a young age and received her education in Ardmore Public Schools, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Tutti graduated with the Class of 2000. After high school, she attended the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma. Tutti lived life to the fullest. She was active in basketball, softball, and track. She was a member of the AAYA Choir and Ardmore High School Stomp Team. In 2007, she received her greatest blessing when she welcomed her only child, her daughter Kamille, into the world. Tutti was known for her beautiful spirit. She was loyal, fun, and lovable. She loved nature, traveling, eating, and making memories. She had a sweet soul, a heart full of love, and was fond of squeezing people, especially babies. Professionally, Tutti managed at Soup R Salad for several years. She also dedicated several years to OU Medical and later worked with the Chickasaw Nation until her health began to fail her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earnsby “Slick” McGee, Jr., maternal grandparents, Ozzie Knight and Henry Lee, parental grandparents, Earnsby McGee, Sr., and Effie McGee, and uncles, Wesley Knight, Sr., and William Brison, Jr.
Tutti leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Kamille, of the home; mother, Janet Knight of Oklahoma City; brothers: Antonio (Cycily) Shannon of Lawton, Okla., Monty (Melissa) Shannon of Gene Autry, Okla., Kent (Kim) Wright of Plainview, Earnsby “Wookie” McGee, III, of Ardmore, Craig Kirk of Tulsa, Okla., Eric Agers, Lavoy Agers, both of Ardmore, Reggie Hopkins of Tulsa, and David (Alexandria) Sandifer of San Antonio, Texas, Davion Haley of Ardmore; sisters: Virginia Kaye (Chris) Pelton, and Audra McGee, all of Ardmore, Wanda Rolison of Tulsa, LaGlenda (Glen) James of Graham, Helen (Richard) DeJear of Oklahoma City, Takisha Jackson of Springer, Okla., and Alica Adams of Ardmore; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved her.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ervin McGee, Kevin McGee, Phil Smith, Micale Smith, ShaCoby Knight, Mano Haims, Demar Jackson, and Mitch Lewis. Serving as flower bearers will be Brittany Willis, Alice Knight, Ta’Kiyah Jackson, Yonkeeta Gordon, Sheleatha McGee, Tisha McGee, Ashley McClendon, and Kashila Rolison.
