Lynda Delores (Harris) Hill passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in Ardmore, Okla., at the age of 82. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Ardmore, with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating.

Lynda was born on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1942, to Lindall Lee Harris and Joyce Maline (Buck) Harris in Long Beach, California. The daughter of a US Air Force father, she traveled around the country. The family moved to Ardmore, Oklahoma, and she attended school at Plainview Schools. Lynda graduated with the Class of 1960 from Plainview High School, Ardmore. She began working for Uniroyal Tire Plant, now known as Michelin, in 1971. In August of 1976, Lynda met Jackie Noel Hill, and they were married on January 15, 1977. After 48 years of marriage, Jack passed away in February 2025. After 27 years of service, she retired from Michelin in 1998. She began as a secretary and years prior to retiring, became the secretary to the Plant Manager. She and Jack attended and were members of First Baptist Church of Ardmore. Lynda was a wonderful homemaker and mother and loved watching her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandson play sports. After retiring, she and Jack traveled to many sporting events and spent time visiting out-of-town families. Lynda was always someone who didn’t do for her herself, but rather loved doing and going for her family at a moment’s notice.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lindall and Joyce Harris, husband, Jack Hill, and stepdaughter, Stephanie Hill.

Lynda is survived by her daughter, Jana Nicholson and husband, Pat, of Blanchard, Oklahoma. Grandchildren: Justin Ellis and girlfriend, Brandi Kilby of Purcell, Oklahoma, and Tanner and Scott Williams of Blanchard. Great-grandchildren: Zane Ellis of Ardmore. Brother, Mike Harris and wife, Debbie, of Ardmore. Stepchildren, Steven Hill and wife, Susanna, of Springfield, Missouri, and Stacey Hill of Foley, Alabama, and their families.

Visitation will be held on Monday evening, September 8, 2025, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home, Ardmore.
