Dale Avery “Patch” Berry, age 66, passed away on August 19, 2025, in Ardmore, Okla. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, August 27, 2025, in The Chapel at Griffin ~ Hillcrest, Ardmore, Oklahoma. Cremation to follow under the care of Hillcrest Crematory.

Dale was born in Ardmore, Okla on April 22, 1959, to Andrew Berry and Imogene “Gertie” Berry. He attended Plainview Schools. He moved to Littlerock Arkansas in 1980. In Arkansas, he met and married Karen Kinley in April of 1981 and from that union came their daughter, Leah. He was a Christian and taught Sunday School classes at Little Rock Church of God. He ran dispatching for a trucking company and then for ABC Tred Co. After that marriage ended in 1991, he moved back to Ardmore, Okla. where he worked in construction for the area until he retired.

Dale loved hunting and fishing but archery was a passion of his. He will be remembered as a good person.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Ron Berry, niece, Lisa Jo

Dale is survived by his daughter, Leah Ashley Berry Warner, granddaughter, Charlie Warner, sisters: Dewana Smith and Debby Taylor, Brother, Tommy Berry. Niece, Kara Payne, nephews, Teddy, Jody, and Cody Smith, Chris Taylor, and Michael Berry Parker. Great nieces and nephews; Oliva, Jayden, Tyler, Andrew, Marlee, Kaydon, Jennings, Tiffany, Jenny, and Jackson.
