Michael Harvey Grammer III, age 74, passed away at home with his son Cody and his caregiver by his side after a brief battle with cancer, on Thursday, July 3, 2025. No services are planned. Cremation services under the direction of Griffin~Hillcrest Funeral Home and Crematory of Ardmore, Okla.
Mike was born November 10, 1950, to M. Harvey and Minna Lou (Harrison) Grammer at Wichita Falls, Texas. He graduated with the Class of 1969 from Plainview High School. After high school, he attended Oklahoma Christian University. He lived in the Ardmore area almost all his life. In his early days, Mike played bass guitar in a band called the “Luv-Inns” with his brother, Ken Grammer, and friends, Kendall Johnson and Gary Warthen. He spent most of his working years in the oil and gas industry. Mike attended Northeast Church of Christ for many years. He had a love for all sorts of animals.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Minna Grammer, brother, Ken Grammer, and sister, Judy Grammer.
Mike is survived by his son, Cody and wife, Lacy, of Ada, Okla., daughter, Dana, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and his grandchildren: Isabel and Kasche.
