Glenda Brown, age 74, passed away on June 24, 2025, in Ardmore, Okla. with her family by her side. Private family services were held.


Glenda was born on June 19, 1951, to Henri Mae President. She graduated from Douglas High School in Ardmore, Okla and went on to attend Murray State and East Central University where she received a Bachelors in Science. Glenda then took a position with Adult Day Center of Marietta and worked her way to being the Administrator, where she retired in 2022. In Glenda’s spare time she loved keeping busy doing arts and crafts.


She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Vernon President, sisters; Ella Mae Hardeman, Mildred Nadine Stevenson, and Ellen Denise Clark.


Glenda is survived by her daughters; MoniQue President, Monika Roberts, and Myashandria Knight and her husband Jeffrey Douglas, sons, Anthony Knight, and Christopher Knight, nephew, Oshay Brown, niece, Caprell Brown, all of Ardmore, Okla. Brother, Charles Doughtry of Longview, Texas, Ronnie Hurte of Tulsa, Okla, Bobby President of Weleetka, Okla. and sixteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
