Kenneth Lee Day, age 79, passed away on May 31, 2025, in Pauls Valley, Okla. Graveside services will be 2:00pm, Thursday, June 12, 2025, in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Kenneth was born on December 21, 1945, to Jess A. Day and Caddie D. (Maloy) Day, in Ardmore, Okla. He attended Ardmore Schools. He went on to work for Pack-A-Sack and later for the Western Company of North America as a fracker in the oilfield. Kenneth loved carving and whittling wood and enjoyed going fishing anytime he could.

He was preceded in death by his parents, the mother of his children; Gloria Day, and, Garret Swaine Mays, sister, Joan Tice, brother, Johnny Day, daughter, Brenda Newell and daughter, Sharla Marie Day.

Kenneth is survived by his son, Shawn Day, four grandchildren; Megan Newell, Lara Newell, Shawnda Day Culley and Haley Day. Three great-grandchildren, brother, Ronald Gene (Ronnie) Day and wife Sharon, and sister, Karen Evelyn Burge and husband, Kenneth, ex-wife, Sheila McNulty, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, June 11, 2025, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home, Ardmore.
