Tara Hope Johnston, age 52, passed away on June 2, 2025, in Ardmore, Okla. Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Milo Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Johnston officiating. Interment to follow in Milo Cemetery, Milo, Okla.

Tara was born on June 4, 1972, in Ardmore, Okla. to Jimmy Ray Brown and Pamela (Gomez) Johnston. She attended and graduated from Las Vegas Schools in Nevada with the class of 1990. Her last position was held at Mercy Memorial Hospital in the sleep study program. In Tara’s spare time, she loved to paint.

She was preceded in death by parents.

Tara is survived by her children, Taralyne Johnston of Durant, Laterian Humphrey of Ardmore, Vanessa Humphrey of Durant, Marcus Humphrey of Ardmore, and Gregory Humphrey of Ardmore and one grandchild, Ezra Borgos, of Durant.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home, Ardmore.
