Pearline Laveda Magee, passed away at the age of 86 at the family home in Lone Grove, Okla. on February 18, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, February 24, 2025, at Lone Grove Assembly of God, with Pastor Gary Gunsolus and Pastor Marcus Truesdale officiating. Interment to follow in Lone Grove Cemetery, Lone Grove, Okla. Funeral services under the direction of Griffin~Hillcrest of Ardmore, Okla.
Pearline was born on September 6, 1938, to Harvey McGahan and Virginia (Williamson) McGahan in Milo, Okla. She was a graduate of Lone Grove Schools. She married Ted Magee on December 23, 1955 in Gainesville, TX. The couple lived in Lone Grove, Okla. and from this marriage came her four children. Pearline worked at Uniroyal as a tire splicer and retired after 23 years of employment from Michelin. Her husband passed away in 1993. Pearline married Arman Allen on August 30, 2003. She was a member of Lone Grove Assembly of God Church for over 60 years. Pearline enjoyed spending time outside working in her yard. Her devotion to family was focused on her grandchildren and going to any function that they had.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Ted Magee, second husband, Arman Allen, two grandsons, Randall Barbour and Andrew Barbour, daughter, Teresa Wilson, and eight siblings, Lola Miller, Leona Duvak, George McGahan, Nettie McGahan, Arthur McGahan, Ruth Yoder, Myrtle Mauldin and Hubert McGahan.
Pearline is survived her son, Larry Magee, and daughters, Sherri Barbour and husband, Darren, Julie Hoskins and husband, Jay, and son-in-law, Spencer Wilson. Grandchildren, Josh Barbour, Kelli Taul, Heather Hacker, Justin Wilson, Jayci Enerson, Brennan Hoskins, Braden Hoskins, and Britton Hoskins, eighteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren with two on the way. Three sisters-in-law; Linda McGahan, Betty Branch, and Patricia Hockersmith and a host of family and friends.
Those serving as pallbearers will be grandsons; Josh Barbour, Justin Wilson, Brennan Hoskins, Braden Hoskins, Britton Hoskins, and Gabe Hacker.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm, at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home, Ardmore.
