Obituary of Michael Wayne Stoliby

Michael Wayne “Milo” Stoliby, age 58, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018, in Ardmore, Okla. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at Hickory Cemetery with Pastor Johnny Meely officiating.

Milo was born in Los Angeles, California, on April 26, 1959, to Billy Stoliby and Betty Lou Wallace Davis. He loved playing basketball in his youth. Milo was a graduate from Plainview High School in the Class of 1978, leaving a long-standing record running track in long distance. He worked as a laborer. Milo loved hanging out with his friends and playing cards and dominos.

He was preceded in death by his parents, uncles: Freeman Wallace and Naith Wallace, Jr., and grandson, Carmell Stoliby.

Milo is survived by his daughters: Mila Stoliby and Tedra White, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and special friend, Donna Kent Marris.

Serving as pallbearers will be Gordon Meely, Rodney Fixico, Dino Marris, Jason Kent, Mark Joe, and Alfred Bob. Honorary bearers will be Arnold Lewis, Sr., and Brandon Kent.

Prayer services will be held on Monday evening, January 8, 2018, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm,  at Griffin ~ Hillcrest of Ardmore.
