Obituary of Tina Marie Turner

Tina Marie Turner, age 48, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017, at Ardmore, Okla. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 5, 2017 at Pruitt Cemetery with The Reverend Walt Spradling officiating.                         

Tina was born in Ardmore, Okla., on January 16, 1969, to Elmer Lee Cryer and Margaret Lou (Sullivan) Cryer. She attended Ardmore Schools, leaving school early to get married. She later achieved her GED. Tina married Daniel Turner in 1985 and from this marriage came three sons. After their marriage ended, she married Earl Slone in 1992 and from this marriage came one son. Tina worked throughout the community as a CNA as well as in occupational and physical therapy. Most recently she worked at Southbrook Nursing Home. When she was young, she loved to go dancing. She loved to go out to watch the people at the casino and spend time with friends and family. Tina will be remembered for her love of her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Curtis Wayne Cryer, and son Christopher Turner.

Tina is survived by her three sons, Justin Turner and companion Prisilla Davis, Daniel Turner and companion Melissa Rowtin, and Brandon Cryer and companion Sunny Gibson. Step-son Cody Parker. Eight grandchildren: Anthony, Rachel, Kenley, Joslin, Logan, Noah, Lydia, and Honor. Brother, Clinton Cryer and wife Sharon, sister, Sissy Cryer, and numerous nieces and nephews.
